En av mina utländska korrespondensvänner har vidarebefordrat följande meddelande som tydligen har skickats ut av Adrian Parker:
Citera:
Thanks to all the long standing support of my colleagues, many of which I think are well known (among others Martin Johnson, Jan Dalkvist, Joakim Westerlund, Goran Brusewitz, Nils Jacobson, Jan Fjellander, Nils Wiklund, and Anneli Goulding), Sweden has now at Gothenburg - Scandinavia's largest and most centrally placed university - a professor of psychology with the major research field as parapsychology and altered states.
My research areas were more than thoroughly scrutinized for this but it is now officially approved that this will be my profile. I see it as my mission to stimulate serious and critical psi-research but in relation to altered states in general. Professorships mean considerably more in the UK and Scandinavia than in the US and if the promised major financing materializes, we will give new life to the Bob Morris double track model of enabling more doctorates at Gothenburg in parapsychology with spin-offs in mainstream psychology. There are also resources at the Scandinavian SPRs which I am trying to bring together initially in the form of a jointly published journal which will be in English as well as the nordic languages.
Adrian
Innebär det att Parker blivit professor? I så fall -- hur i helsicke är det ställt med Göteborgs Universitet egentligen?
